Description:
Pineau des Charentes is a truly unique French aperitif, produced from a blend of fresh grape juice and young cognac, which is then aged in French oak barrels for several years. We let Doc Swinson’s blend of two five-year bourbon whiskeys rest in these barrels for several months, bringing hints of apricot, orange marmalade, and wildflower honey to the already delicious caramel and stone fruit notes of the bourbon. One of three limited-release exploratory cask fortified wine finishes produced for summer 2022; grab it before it’s gone.
