The Navarro family is a large traditional family in the state of Jalisco, Mexico and are the descendants of Spaniards. Mr. Pedro Navarro Franco bought an old 1800’s hacienda in Puente Grande Jalisco and named it Hacienda Navarro. Subsequently the sons of Mr. Pedro Navarro Franco. Pedro Jr., Jorge and Carlos founded the restaurants Navarro Hacienda in 1990, being the most successful restaurant in Guadalajara. Already in the food business they came up with the idea of making their own tequila since their customers were great consumers of Preciado Liquido. Tequila Hacienda Navarro, anejo expression, is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave and is aged in American oak barrels for 24 months. Produced in Jalisco, Mexico (NOM 1578) only agaves from Tequila Valley (near Jalisco) with the highest maturity and sugar levels, having grown for 8 years, are used.
AROMA: Complex aromas of cooked agave, pepper and azahar.
TASTE: Smooth all the way through with flavours of baked agave, pepper and spices. Oak, caramel and a hint of honey.
BARREL: American oak barrels for 2 years
ENJOY: Sip either neat or over ice.
