Exquisite Aging Process
This bourbon began its journey as a straight Kentucky Bourbon whiskey, fully matured for 10 years in new charred American Oak barrels. It was then transferred to brand new charred oak barrels for an additional 6 years. This unique double-barrel aging process imparts a depth of flavor and complexity that can only be achieved through long years of maturation.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Caramel, Vanilla, Baking Spice, Toasted Sugar, Candy.
- Palate: Caramel, Baking Spices, Buttery Toffee, Hint of Caramelized sugar.
- Finish: Full, robust flavor with a smooth coating on the tongue. The dry finish is strong with a brilliant and complex spice that is more sweet than peppery. The Kentucky Hug is warm but not burning.
