Each orange is harvested by hand while slightly underripe, ensuring the peel is perfect for liqueur production.

Handcrafted with Tradition and Precision

The process of creating this liqueur is a testament to traditional craftsmanship. The orange peels are cut into four pieces using a wooden knife to avoid staining, then dried in sunlight for five days. Great care is taken to keep the peels dry, covering them at night. These dried peels are then placed in cloth “jute bags” with secret spices and herbs, hung inside a still filled with alcohol derived from natural cane sugar, and cooked for three days.

Small Batch Perfection

After cooking, the mixture is cooled, the bags are removed, and water is added. The distillation process takes place over three days, resulting in a small batch of 55 gallons of base spirit. This distillate is then blended with water and approximately 400 kilograms of sugar per batch, creating the final liqueur. The Genuine Curaçao Liqueur is bottled on-site and is available in three traditional colors: blue, orange, and clear. It is also Kosher certified.
