Twenty five years ago, master distiller Don Carlos and his family planted their first agave in the Highlands of Jalisco Mexico with a plan to create a true farm-to-glass tequila.
As our distiller says, “a strong house is built on a solid foundation.” The rest he says, “speaks for itself”.
The location of the Tepozán distillery was chosen by means of a simple wire divining rod, revealing a natural mineral spring 405 meters under ground, with volcanic-filtered water. The blue agave is sustainably cultivated with organic principles, all by hand (never machine).
Today, Tepozán is one of the few tequilas on the market that is fully grown, processed, and bottled at the source.
