Winemaker Daniel Daou has excelled in making wines from some of the Central Coast’s most revered Pinot Noir sites, including Solomon Hills and Gary’s Vineyard. He now builds upon his success with this exciting new release—an elegant, authentic and accessible Pinot Noir made from his favorite coastal vineyards. The 2018 vintage offers enticing aromas of cherry, rhubarb and rose petal, with notes of African violet, cloves and toasty oak. Silky and lush on the palate, this wine delivers rich flavors of ripe strawberry, cherry and black raspberries. Subtle hints of black olive and truffle add complexity and sophistication to this elegant and ethereal wine.
Transitioning from mid-palate to the persistent finish is smooth and seamless, leaving a lovely, lingering memory of sweet strawberries, juicy plum, and pine forest.
