Description
Pale golden yellow colour with silvery grey glints. Fine bubbles with a very persistent cordon. Satiny appearance. The nose is full of smoked limestone (marl), iodine sea spray, blackcurrant, grapefruit, licorice, blackberry, pomegranate and elderberries. On the palate, the attack is clean and fresh, with a soft, creamy effervescence. Fruity, crisp and full-bodied substance, underscored by a grapefruity acidity. The mid-palate develops a marly minerality that brings structure and a broad texture with a hint of salinity. The champagne’s intensity heightens the impact of the tannins, giving tremendous concentration and a cool, stony, juicy finish.
