Description
Year after year, we’ve been excited to offer such a well-crafted, balanced and nuanced Pinot Noir at an “everyday wine” price. The nose opens with aromas of cola, and hints of earthy loam and mushroom. The first sip shifts the experience from earth to fruit with tart red cherry, strawberry and raspberry flavors. Throughout, the wine is restrained and balanced with subtle tannins and bright acidity framing in the fruit. It is a new world Pinot to be sure, but there is big wink to the old world in its carriage.
Producer Description
Beginning as garage winemakers, pioneering vintners Art and Bunnie Finkelstein started producing legendary wines in the Napa Valley in the 1970s when they created Whitehall Lane Winery. Now, their son Judd and his wife Holly are at the helm, and Judd’s Hill continues to hand-craft ultra-premium wines with the same heartfelt and intimate style that has been their signature for more than 30 years.
