A blend of sourced one-year-old rye and three-and-a-half-year-old rye from Tennessee. The result is a spirit with pink peppercorn spiciness, vanilla bean and kettle corn sweetness, and subtle cinnamon notes.
APPEARANCE: hue of light amber when diluted to 45% ABV; emblematic of a youthful whisky and not over-oaked
NOSE: vanilla, dried candied citrus, and confectionary
PALATE: tastes of vanilla bean, cassia bark, pink peppercorn, kettle corn
FINISH: medium long with notes of saddle leather, butterscotch

The water used to dilute Rodham to bottle strength comes from an Adirondack spring on the New York family farm of one of our founders, Rachel Gardner. She used a sledge hammer over this winter to break open the ice on the spring and tote barrels of this pure, crisp water down to DC.
