Bladnoch 17 Year Old

This rich, fruity single malt from Bladnoch was initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Californian red wine casks for a final 10 months. The nose is rich and fruity, full of dried fruit, cherry, coffee, vanilla and toffee aromas, with a hint of sweet and spicy oak. The palate offers notes of spicy oak, marmalade, cherries and prunes, balanced by liquorice and cinnamon.
