Hailing from Portugal, these old casks were home to a selection of Tawny Ports for many years before making their way across the Atlantic to be filled with Doc Swinson’s blend of two five-year whiskeys. Exuding a rich amber color in the glass with aromas of wild red berries, drizzled caramel, and rich nuttiness, this world of flavors jumps around on your tongue. One of three limited-release fortified wine finishes produced for Summer 2022.

60% corn, 36% rye, 4% malted barley

75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley

 

Barrel Type:

American White Oak - minimum 5 years old; ex-Tawny casks - 4 months & 7 months
